Poe's Hoodie Dress

I have seen dresses like these for adults but not children and wanted so bad for Poesy to have one.
So the brainstorming began.
I wanted a stretchy material and found this dark pink stretch knit. Since it is close to Valentines Day I wanted something sweet but also something she can wear throughout the year.
I took one of her summer sleeveless dresses and cut out a pattern on poster board. Since I wanted the hood to be a bit oversized I took a hoodie of mine and laid it out to get the shape.
The cutting and sewing flew by. Then a little detail needed to be added.
I found simple and stretchy lace trim to put around the hood front and down the ruffle on the chest. The ruffle I just zigzag stitched around the edge to keep the fraying at a minimum. After all the sewing was done I added tiny heart shaped buttons to the ruffle.
Tah Dah!
Poesy was thrilled... and that is the best part!
This spring/summer she can loose the long sleeve shirt. But for now it is cute with.

Route 66

Not only does this outfit look super cute but according to my little Boo Bear it makes you run faster!

Halloween Madness

This is one little creepy crawler I wouldn't mind having in my house! I made this costume out of black fleece. Each little spidey leg is filled with polyfill and held to the other with black ribbon. Not only is it warm and cozy but it is super cute!

I hand stitched four little evil eyes onto the hood with felt.

Are you a good witch or a bad witch? Or a funky spunky diva witch like my lil Poesy? This is a two layer skirt with orange tulle between the layers.

To keep your little wickedness warm I made leg warmers to go with.

Add a little wicked bejeweled top and your little cutie patootie...

Do you have a little woodland fairy in your neck of the woods? This little set of fairy wings and tutu were made for a newborn photo prop.

The wings are accented with a little tulle, ribbon, and a flower. All hand sewn onto the wings.. no glue against your babies skin.

Twirly Skirts every girls needs

Poesy's Sassy n Sweet patchwork skirt. With ruffle at the bottom to bring it together. Make at a modest length. You can hardly find skirts that aren't "mini" for our little girls in stores.

Every little diva needs a twirly skirts.

This skirt is at a modest knee length that is just too sweet. With 8 panels making up the skirt and a polka dot ruffle at the bottom. There are also pockets in the sides of this skirt.

Independence Day Play!

I am making pillowcase dresses & drawstring shorts/embroidered t-shirt sets for the 4th of July. Both are $20.

Travis' shorts I made with pockets on the sides with flag fabric. I can mix n match any patriotic fabric. I used a 2 hole toggle to drawstring his shorts. All pants seams are straight and zigzag stitched for added stength. His t-shirt I ironed on and embroidered a matching flag (as his pockets) on the front to bring the outfit together. 6mths to sz 5T
The pillowcase dresses range in sizes from 6mths to sz 8. Comfortable, fun, and easy to wear! I made a bunch of different ones for my nieces.

Dog Dayz

This is a t-shirt and drawstring pants set I made for my 3 yro son. I used a double hole toggle for the drawstring rope. All the seams were straight stitched then zigzagged for extra strength for the busy toddlers. The t-shirt has appliques ironed on and sewn on for added hold.

I don't know about other 3 yros but my little Travis keeps me on my toes... this outfit so far has been through a lot and still holding up WONDERFULLY! Wash, dry, iron, etc. Perfect! And he loves it.
